ABOUT ME
I was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, and I had a severe expressive language delay that did not allow me to communicate with my fellow peers. To help me along the way, I started picking up video games at a young age. My first video game console was the Nintendo GameCube. I grew up during the transition of the PlayStation 3, the Nintendo Wii, and the Xbox 360. Unfortunately, video games are not the same as they used to be. I knew in my soul that I wanted to be a video game designer and bring it back to basics while adapting and evolving with the new technology.
I started to go into digital art and creating pieces in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. One of my pieces that I did was in a local art show. It was Orson Welles’ MacBeth with glowing elements all around him. Right after high school, I ventured straight away into college and further strengthened my skills and learning new software such as InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Maya, Cinema 4D, and ZBrush.
As I keep digging into the digital art world, I’m still learning new skill sets as I picked up Twitch moderating in November 2023. With my resiliency, hand-to-eye coordination, and communication skills, I maintained a great experience for the Twitch community and connected with new people all around the world.
A career within the visual arts field is definitely something that I belong in. The creativity and the passion of the people before me tells me that I can do anything if I set my mind to it.
Nothing is impossible with visual arts.
